Class Schedule (classes last for 6 weeks)

Monday Nights:

6:00 – 7:15 pm Foundation Class

Tuesday Night:

5:30 pm Beginners Class

6:40 pm Intermediate Class

Wednesday Night:

5:30 pm Beginners Class

6:40 pm Advanced Class

We would like each class to have no more than 8 students max; preferably a couple less. So sign up early to secure your spot.

If you have the ability to take classes two nights a week, you might find that very beneficial in getting your dog’s training to advance more rapidly. Thanks All in Advance for your interest in our classes. Sandy

Instructors:

Sandy Moody

Sandy Moody has been training her German Shorthaired Pointers in agility since 1999. She has competed with several of her dogs earning at least the novice titles on each. Sandy’s most exciting accomplishments are with Rosie, who has earned MACH 5 and is part-way through MACH 6. Rosie is the first GSP to earn a MACH 3 and 4 and is currently the only GSP in history to earn MACH 5. She continues to compete with her at the age of 12.

Sandy has been offering training classes for other agility enthusiasts for approximately 7 years through the Blue Heron Agility Association of DE and the Salisbury Maryland Kennel Club. She has attended numerous training camps and seminars over the years gaining knowledge and experience on a wide variety of agility topics. Sandy and Rosie have been invited to the AKC Agility Invitational all 6 years of its existence and have qualified for the AKC Nationals for the last several years. Sandy has recently become an AKC Agility Judge.

Joy Olshefsky

Joy has been teaching for the Blue Heron Agility Club for a number of years now and has a strong following of agility students who appreciate her enthusiasm for the sport. Her classes tend to focus on breaking down agility exercises and skills in a way that they can be worked on at home.
